Great Fantasy Story

Can you imagine worshiping your God and thinking all is right with the world, to then have your father ride up and shatter your world? That is exactly what happened to Rhiannon, who was a sheltered, head-strong young lady. She was sent by her father to the Cold Top, to live out the rest of her days. She is devastated by this turn of events. She thinks her life is over. She is in for a surprise when praying and wondering what her grandmother did to make her exiled to the Cold Top. When Edwin of Strellia announced that her grandmother killed his wife with a poisonous pregnancy potion. Another ideal destroyed for Rhiannon who loved her grandmother. As she got to know Edwin, the more she realized how sheltered she was and that she was falling in love with Edwin...but Rhiannon struggles with following directions and Edwin must discipline her to make her understand he will not tolerate her putting herself in harm's way. Can she learn her lesson? Can they make it back to Streilla?
I really enjoyed this story, it was really interesting and I liked the characters. A great, quick read for an afternoon.

Nice Fantasy Story

I really enjoyed this fantasy story. Rhiannon is exiled to the Cold top to pay for something her grandmother did. She soon meets Edwin who has been waiting for her. Her teaches her that she will obey him or pay for it with sometimes rather painful spankings. However, she soon realizes that the stories she had heard about the Crigons were wrong. She falls in love with Edwin who is always ready to protect her . It was a very romantic story of two people finding their soul mates.

Claiming his Human Wife is a fantastic sci/fi about Rhiannon who has been sent into isolation by her father the rest of her days. She soon leans that Edwin has come to take his revenge for the death of his wife by claiming her. Edwin expects Rhiannon to obey in all matters or face the consequences which she does on many occasions. She certainly finds there is pleasure in obeying. Excellent story and certainly a 5 star read!

More of a bible than the Bible...

...for any Thelemite or serious high magician. Inside are all the tools required to devise ceremonies of any type. Want to do a love spell? Look at all the correspondences for Netzach, including colors, scents, and goddesses, and then use your imagination and decorate and prepare your altar! (That might be a rather physical form of love, though. Want love on a higher plane? Then try the correspondences for path 14. It will be more nurturing and loving, untainted by the corruption of Netzach.)

There is also a lot on Gematria which can be useful for some magicians, I suppose. To be truthful, I feel Gematria is somewhat overrated in modern magick, due in part to Crowley. Certainly it has its place, but I've seen too many magicians put way too much credence in the way numbers add up to the point they become silly numerologists. Either way though, here is a good place to start for making your own Gematric encyclopedia.

Simply beautiful

These designs are some of the most beautiful I've seen. Such graceful movement and flow. I love the way the artist uses colored wire. Reminds me of the illustrations in the Book of Kells. I haven't had a chance to read the tutorials yet, but the designs, for all their beauty, look as though they will be relatively simple to reproduce. This book was worth the price just to get to look at the pictures, but I can't wait to get started on a project or two.

Jig Patterns galore!

I simply love this book. It shows you how to make links out of wire such as for bracelets or watch bands. Also it has a section which is my favorite near the back of the book. This section has many different Jig patterns. It is great for people like me who bought a really nice jig made out of stainless and all over the place on the internet I see patterns for the wig-jig. I bought this jig out of personal preference. And it is nice to see that I don't have to buy the wig-jig just to get the patterns. I also recommend the book "Making Bead & Wire Jewelry" by Dawn Cusick. She has even more jig patterns at the back of her book.

EXCELLENT book that is worth having if you LOVE wireworking!

I am relatively new to wireworking and found this book to have both simple and more complex ideas, so there is something for everyone. I found some great new things to try and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. It also sparked my own creativity to try some variations once I saw how it was done. DEFINITELY a great book for beginners and more experienced designers alike.

About the Author

Julian Reiss is Professor of Philosophy at Durham University. He has a degree in economics and finance from the University of St Gallen and a PhD in philosophy from the London School of Economics. His main research interests are methodologies of the sciences, philosophy of economics, and science and values. He is the author of Error in Economics: Towards a More Evidence-Based Methodology (2008), Philosophy of Economics: A Contemporary Introduction (2013), and some 40 papers in leading philosophy and social science journals and edited collections.
