Another Winner for RayYao

Gee, Ray. Just when I think I've bought all the books of yours I can use, you bring out another one! True to form, Ray delivers practical, easy-to-understand lessons (in this case, AngularJS) that even green as grass newbies like me can cope with. I think I said it before in a previous review, but if Ray can keep producing these simple, reasonably-priced tutorials, I guess I'll keep buying them.

Terrific for Instruction at the Ground Level

Depending on where you're coming from and what you are looking to do with Angular --- the time it takes to get familiar with the language varies. The basic nuts & bolts are relatively easy to learn, but the framework contains what amounts to a Lot of concepts...so how far you go with it could take a while. BUT, for my purposes --novice level-- I needed an experienced Angular programmer there to walk me thru. And Mr. Yao does just that-
His text he present here is not too long for entry-level programmers, nor is it too short. I found it to be middle-of-the-road Just Right for my speed and ability. It's laid out with the Chapters broken down into the major 'food groups' -- thus, easy-peasy. And there is a very nice, abundant Appendices, too boot!
I've learned that one doesn't need to really learn Javascript in addition, and that frankly would have just compounded the task at hand. But Angular exists in its own kind of sphere, so that was a relief as I'm not too terribly conversant in that Lang.. All in all I'm quite pleased with the purchase & I thank the author for his help

Solid Beginner's Guide! Highly Recommended!

AjgularJS has been on my "things to learn" list for quite some time now and I have been searching for a solid guide to help me get my foot through the door. I decided to go with this guide written by Ray Yao and it has been nothing but outstanding thus far. The steps that are provided are very easy to follow and well organized. There was never a point where I was confused or needing to look elsewhere for solutions. This was one of the best choices I have made in terms of a self-guide for anything that I had wanted to learn. Thank you, Raymond!
