Dear Mom - what a wonderful book!!!

I recently read Dear Mom by author Peter Wilson. I am writing this review with tears in my eyes. This book is about the relationship between a mother and her son. Having two sons of my own, I can really relate to this story. A mother wanting the best for her son. Watching him grow and develop day by day until he becomes the man you always dreamed he would be. To all the sons out there, this is the perfect gift to give to your mothers. I loved this book and so will your moms!!! Thank you Peter Wilson for another gem!!!

Author Peter Wilson collaborates with illustrator Carol Matsuyama is presenting those special moments of a mother and son relationship in the form a letter written to the mother of an older man. The letter recalls all the fun and good times, the many times when his mother was there to give him courage, inspiration, marking his growth into a young man with memories he will never forget. At the end of the letter the man finds a book on the shelf of his library with a not written many years ago from his mother to him. The circle goes round.
This is a sweet testament to that special bond that unites a life long relationship between mother and son told in gentle poetry and fine illustrations. Grady Harp, July 14

A special book!

This is a special book about the relationship between a mom and her son, but it could be describing many child/parent relationships, mother/daughter etc. I am so thankful that I do have this special bond with my son, as parenting can be sometimes be difficult. Peter and Carol have done a wonderful job of describing the unconditional love that exists between a parent and child. This book would make a great gift!
