Stuart Keane is not slowing down at all

I had a review in my head while at work, but now that i'm at the computer watching Patch Adams, squeeling like a little dirty hoe at how much I miss Robin Williams, all words have left me.
What I can say is I loved this book in a twisted sort of way. From the start he built characters, threw them into the [...] and grime of a horror premise and started constructing each one of them. It's something that I've noticed, he is exceptionally well at. Being a novel, and not a novella, Stuart Keane throws you into the full force of the cruelty that is taking place, never yielding. Fantastic story, fantastic story telling.

Great book, great author

This is a very rivoting, keep you on the edge of your seat kind of book for me.
I felt like I was right there with the characters in the moment trying to anticipate the next move, yet being surprised with the turns of events.
Not for the faint of heart due to the graphic detail, but I absolutely love this book and highly recommend it as a must read.

Why did I wait so long to read this?

I'm seriously wishing I read this the day it came out. Everyday since then has been a day where I did not know how awesome this book and Stuart Keane are. I had previously read Keane's The Customer is Always... It was good, but this...This monster of a novel blows it away. Be prepared to lose sleep and leave your dinner plate untouched.
Four strangers made to fight for their lives in a reality tv-like game where the super wealthy pull all the strings for their sick entertainment. There were so many twists and turns with each player, but Keane's writing made it easy enough to follow the separate POVs, which I struggle with in some novels. At one point, I felt sick at what I read. I couldn't believe Stuart did what he did, and then, a few pages later, he threw yet another curve ball. It was so unpredictable with the four main characters and the four main bad guys that were controlling them in the game. Just when it seemed like Keane was ready to wrap up one storyline, something major would happen again. I ended up trusting all the wrong people and not trusting the right ones. What a wild ride.
Amazon should really pick this book up for Kindle Worlds. I'd love to see other authors get to play in Stuart's sandbox. He has created such a unique, terrifying, and exciting world. I'm actually saddened that this 344 page book is over. This truly should not be missed. Loved it, would definitely read anything Stuart writes, and would definitely read it a second time.
